Primary Five had a wonderful day out on Friday at the Ulster Museum. We began our day with an Ancient Egypt workshop, learning about Egyptian gods and Mummification, carrying out investigations, and even making Egyptian eye makeup! We then enjoyed our lunch in Botanic Gardens, before taking a trip back into the museum to explore and pay a visit to the ancient Egyptian mummy, Takabuti. We even managed to squeeze in an art workshop, creating fruit baskets inspired by the Italian artist, Caravaggio. A wonderful day out!
