We were so lucky and grateful to Fionnuala McCorry for visiting our school! Fionnuala is a midwife and she even brought us the beautiful baby Etain to show us how she helps mummies and their babies in the hospital. This was a really special treat to teach us about People who Help Us!
Fionnuala showed us how she checks to make sure the baby is healthy and we got to weigh Etain and check that she had all her fingers and toes. Etain was more than happy to see the boys and girls and was a wonderful example of best behaviour.
These photos show the wonderful learning that took place. There are definitely some budding medics in our class! The boys and girls showed how caring and gentle they are.
