On Friday 8th November, our P7 Gaelic Team took part in the Lismore College, P7 Gaelic Football Blitz.
St Teresa’s played against St Anthony’s P.S (A team), St Mary’s, Derrytrasna P.S. and St John the Baptist P.S. in their group stage games. They then progressed onto the Shield level of the tournament.
Playing against a strong St. Brendan’s P.S. (A team) they came back to win the game 10-8 showing great determination and excellent team play.
The team then progressed into the Final of the Shield, playing against a strong St Patrick’s, Aghagallon P.S team. The St Teresa’s team again showed their determination and won this game by a deciding final point.
An overall brilliant performance from our P7 Gaelic Team, showing great sportsmanship in victory and representing our school with excellent team play and will to win.
